Hollanda’da bir tur operatörü olarak kurulan Corendon, zamanla bünyesine hava yolu, incoming ve otelleri katarak büyüyerek bir turizm grubuna dönüşmüştür. Kurulduğu ilk günden bu yana “Fark Yarat” sloganıyla girdiği havacılık sektöründe birçok örnek uygulamaya ve ilklere imza atan Corendon Airlines, 12 Nisan 2005’te Amsterdam’dan Sabiha Gökçen’e ve 4 Nisan 2012’de Gazipaşa Havalimanı’na yaptığı uçuşlar ile bu meydanlara ilk kez yolcu uçağı indiren Türk şirketi olmuştur.
2011 yılında kurulan Hollanda tescilli Corendon Dutch Airlines ve 2017 yılında kurulan Corendon Airlines Europe iştirakleri ile birlikte Avrupa içindeki ve Türkiye'deki popüler tatil destinasyonlarına uçuşlar düzenleyen Corendon Airlines, 45 ülkede 145 ülkeye uçan uluslararası bir havayolu konumuna gelmiştir. 2019 itibariyle filosundaki 24 adet Boeing 737 model uçakla operasyonlarına devam eden Corendon Airlines, yılda 6 milyon yolcu sayısı ile hem Türkiye’de hem de Avrupa’da önemli bir hava yolu pozisyona yükselmiştir.
