On dokuzuncu yüzyılın sonunda George Mizzi tarafından bir ev olarak inşa edilmiş olan, Al Palas olarak da bilinen Mizzi Köşkü, 1930-1940 arasında San Remo Oteli olarak kullanıldı. Sıkıştırılmış kırmızı tuğladan örülmüş olan cephesi ve anıtsal köşe kulesi, İtalyan mimar Raimondo D'Aronco tarafından 1894’te tasarlandı.
